Hyrox
A HYROX workout is a indoor fitness race format that alternates between a 1-kilometer run and one functional movement station, repeated for a total of eight rounds. The official race order consists of a 1,000m SkiErg, 50m sled push, 50m sled pull, 80m burpee broad jumps, 1,000m row, 200m farmer's carry, 100m sandbag lunges, and 100 wall balls.
Core Training Strategies
Compromised Running: Practice running 1km immediately followed by a heavy station to train your body to perform under deep leg fatigue.
Interval Conditioning: Mix high-intensity rowing or skiing with bodyweight movements like burpees or squats on a timed clock.
Grip and Posture: Prioritize farmer's carries and heavy pulls to maintain strength when your hands and forearms tire.
